I’m a miniature artist working in oils. I paint eyes, small, intimate paintings on found and vintage objects like tins, spoons, and vessels. I’m drawn to the history of Georgian Lover’s Eyes and to the quiet act of looking closely at someone and really seeing them.
Right now I’m in the middle of something big. THE SEEN is a new project of approximately one hundred anonymous eyes, painted on found objects, from people all around the world. Each eye is numbered, not named. The finished collection will come together for my first solo exhibition in the US at Hidell Brooks Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2027, followed by a solo exhibition in Melbourne in February 2028.
